‘Vera is an amazing facilitator and has opened doors to places I did not know existed, through her work.
My life is richer and fuller having worked with you, Vera, thank you!’

Geraldine, Celbridge. January 2021

“I have known Vera since her first days at NCAD. She closed a thriving business to peruse her passion for Art. Vera now brings this passion along with her work ethics and energy to her present day artistic career. From the day she finish her Fine Art Degree Vera has been successfully carving out a unique place within the Arts and Culture sector. Vera is meticulous in her planning and execution in all her endeavors. She is a facilitator, a teacher and an artist with her own body of work exhibited widely both within Ireland and internationally. Vera makes it all looks effortless, but we all know how much work she put into her projects in order to make it seem this way. She is constantly creating and innovating her work to meet the needs of her practice.”

Vera, thank you so much for such a wonderful course. I can’t say how much I enjoyed it – the process itself and also the care with which you guided us all. It was just fabulous. I am, obviously, delighted with my pieces too!

“I loved the course, it was wonderful to try a new artistic skill. I loved the setting, a beautiful airy bright workshop. Vera gave us the best of support and encouragement in a very positive way and we came away at the end of the workshop with some lovely pieces”

“Dear Vera, Your class was a great addition to our Art Portfolio Class, the students really loved it and gained great experience from your kind guidance and expertise. If you can keep a slot open for us again this year, for the next group of students, I would be extremely grateful

‘I would highly recommend Vera’s glass workshop. It was such a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere, with Vera’s clear instructions and encouragement , I learned so much in such a short time and was delighted to complete necklaces and a framed piece. I look forward to doing another class in the near future.’

‘Vera related to our students very well and this was especially noted in a special class setting. She took time to get to know the children and the pitch and pace of her lessons suited our students very well. She adapted and differentiated for the range of abilities in the group very well. The children loved working with Vera.’

As a total non creative – always living and working in a logical problem solving environment, art is alien to me 😊 I took on Vera’s course while on time off recently. I loved it – Vera is so very encouraging, kind and patient – my baby steps into this lovely art form of glass art delighted me. I want more!

Mary, Kilkenny

The children looked forward to Tuesdays when Vera would be in. She had a lovely presence and was great with the kids. She really brought out their creative side and they really felt they were /are artists. They learned so many new skills-weaving, sewing, printing but above all and most importantly they learned patience, and co-operation. I was so proud of how they dealt with the new tasks and kept trying new things. I could see them growing in confidence each week and they loved Vera’s reaction to their work, they really felt like artists. We were so sad when the programme ended, it has been a wonderful and worthwhile experience
