An exciting week here with Kildare Culture Night 2017 and the Artist Notebook Exhibition and Workshop underway. The exhibition took place on Main Street, Celbridge and commenced on 16th and run up to and including 23rd September 2017.
The creative notebook workshop was on Saturday September 23r the day after Culture Night and introduced twelve participants to a variety of techniques and skills which can be continued and further explored at home. Individual notebooks and all art materials were provided.
The venue for this fun workshop was the ACRE Project in Celbridge, what a space to be creative in.
It all happened on Main Street. Celbridge. The notebook pages were turned on a daily basis so that each time you ventured down Main Street there was something new to see. The exhibition was also on view after dark, as the show was fully lit up. The week then culminated with the Saturday morning workshop on starting your very own Creative Notebook. This was a FREE event for Culture Night.
Have a quick look at this little video that gives a flavour of the exhibition and workshop. As usual I was enjoying myself so much during the facilitation process that I forgot to take some photos.

Artist Notebooks

Notebook Exhibition
I will be working the ten of the Kildare Libraries in the Autumn around Children’s Book Festival time to introduce the notebook idea and skills for children to collect drawings, images or doodles in their own journal. A contemporary style scrap book for children really.
