Fused glass artwork in a glassless white frame size 26cm x 26cm. The glassless frame encourages the viewer to experience the tactile quality of the glass as well as the visual vibrancy of colour. The work is developed by firstly starting with a clear glass base (approx size 12cm x 12cm) where particles and shards of coloured glass are placed on it to create an image, which is then kiln fired for at least 24 hours, at controlled temperatures.
